CLASS 3 WITH AIRBRAKES 

PROFESSIONAL DRIVER TRAINING

Course Length: 27 Days

The FCIT Class 3 training program is designed for students that are wanting to learn how to operate a Class 3 truck (i.e., straight dump truck, water, and sewer truck).

 

The course is broken down into classroom and practical portions.  

 

The training in the classroom reviews the basic rules of the road and teaches commercial driving and air brakes theory. 

 

Once the in-class portion is complete, we then move into one on one in cab training, focusing on the pre-trip inspections and driving techniques.  

 

Students will learn how to use the water and sewage trucks and can add in additional training on the dump truck; receiving training on how to spread materials for construction.
