DRIVER TRAINING TEAM

Corinne Buisse BIO

Corinne Buisse Driving Instructor, Fossil Creek Industrial Training

Corinne started her career as an instructor at a very young age.  She had no prior driving training and was taught by her father how to drive.  They would take the old beast a 1975 Monte Carlo out daily and take turns driving back and forth from Alberta to Manitoba to visit family. However, as she started driving on her own, she took many chances and lucky enough no motor vehicle crashes!

At the age of 24 years, she had the opportunity to become a Driving Instructor with Alberta Motor Association.  During her time at Alberta Motor Association, she started to respect the vehicle, understanding the risks associated in the driving world.  As a young new instructor, she was able to pass on her experiences and train new drivers to become proactive drivers making better decisions in the driving environment.

A few years later, Corinne became a supervisor and chief instructor completing her Supervisory Development Citation at The University of Alberta.  Well, that was not enough for Corinne as she always wanted to be a first responder.  She decided she wanted more and went back to school to The Professional Medical Associates and became a Primary Care Paramedic.  Corinne currently works as a casual Paramedic with Alberta Health Services, and still has the passion & drive for training Driver Education in The Northern Communities.

When Corinne is not saving lives or training, she loves to golf, paddleboard, garden, go for walks with her dog Chester, ski, travel and watch NFL.  She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and just retired from billeting hockey players for WHL & AJHL; did I mention she likes photography?

When you get to know Corinne, she loves to take pictures!  She decided to pursue photography and take an online course with The Photography Institute of Canada and wants to be certified as a Professional Photographer.

Corinne has highly qualified instructors to assist her when she is unable to be in a community and chooses only the best!

Corinne Buisse is a Primary Care Paramedic, Qualified Driving Instructor, and currently pursuing Photography. She not only helps with medical or trauma situations but also wants to ensure that new drivers succeed by receiving up to date information with highway regulations, feeling comfortable operating a vehicle and has the skills to do their best to avoid hazardous situations to reduce the chances of being in a serious collision causing injury or even death.  Corinne has been very successful developing driver programs for Alberta and Northern Communities with a high success rate on making sure all types of learners whether you are visual, auditory, kinesthetic or read/write have the knowledge to succeed with driver training.
