This course is intended for skid steer and compact track loader operators. It provides the minimum training requirements to ensure operators have the basic knowledge and skills required for the safe operation of their loader and its attachments.

Course Description

​

This full, comprehensive course has been developed for the online environment but can also be taken in a classroom. If you prefer classroom training OR have already successfully completed the online portion of this course and require a skills assessment, contact us.

​

Skid Steer Powered Mobile Equipment (PME) training courses follow the guidelines and principles outlined in Part 19 of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code as well as those established by the Canadian Standards Association and recommendations by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).

 

The PME programs cover the basic knowledge and skill requirements for the safe operation of the equipment and their attachments.

Course Completion

​

The quizzes at the end of each chapter are intended and designed to strengthen your understanding of its contents. A passing mark of 80% is required and you have two retries of each quiz to achieve this. Upon successful completion of this course, a unique digital certificate, valid for three years, will be available to download and print.
