These trucks are big and can be intimidating. Articulating trucks also steer and perform differently than most vehicles on the road. We aim to build the students' confidence by teaching them the skills to safely operate these trucks.
This training focuses on safe backing techniques, proper positioning of the trucks to be loaded by excavators and loaders, how to safely dump loads dependent on the type of haul truck, and observing all site safety requirements such as speed limits.
This course is 1 week long, with 3 Hours of in class training and 4.5 days of practical training. A maximum of 6 students can be enrolled in the class.
