Overhead Crane & Rigging Level 1 Course

This course is designed to introduce the student to the basic concepts, hazards, hazard control processes and safe work procedures associated with operating overhead cranes. It follows the regulations, guidelines, principles and recommendations established by the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.

Course Description

This online Overhead Crane course is a self guided online program that trains the students on basic overhead crane operation, inspection and evaluation.

The most current ASME standards were used to create this new 2020 Basic Rigging – Level 1 course, which covers rigging techniques and inspections, and clarifies rigging misconceptions.
