Heavy Equipment & Occupational Safety Training
LOADER OPERATOR
Overview
Loaders are common amongst most public works departments in Canada.
The FCIT loader program is designed to teach operators how to be productive as well as safe while they are operating.
This training will focus on loading trucks with bucket and forks, running a pick,
digging/removing material and rough grade.
This training can be run year round and will focus on snow removal tasks in the winter.
The training is 1 week long for a maximum of 6 students.
Competency evaluations can be completed if there are operators who have
experience with an additional day of training.
3 hours of classroom training, 4.5 days of practical training – Max 6 students
